It’s good old-fashioned fun and non-stop entertainment at McCreary County’s oldest festival!
Every year, McCrearyFest seeks to attract the very best in regional entertainers. As a result, festival crowds are electrified by artists from a variety of backgrounds and genres, as the festival prides itself on having some of the finest entertainers around. Always with an eye out for new talent, McCrearyFest has proven to be a breeding ground for up-and-coming artists. Weekly, we are inundated with musicians, singers, songwriters, bands, and magicians wishing to fill our festival roster.
While we’re always on the search for new performers, we don’t forget festival faithfuls and crowd pleasers. Year after year, McCrearyFest entertainers leave our audiences wowed and wanting more, marvelled by the talent the region possesses. A perennial favorite is Southern Smoke, a locally based country band that weekly headlines the popular Uptown Opry. Their wonder sound is famous for geting even the most hardened toes tapping, while their vocal range and emotion surely packs a punch. Southern Smoke boasts the “best steel player in the South” and the “queen of the keyboard.” It’s talent of the quality one would expect no where outside of Nashville, and just a piece of what McCrearyFest has to offer.
A line up of first class, continuous family friendly entertainment is provided on festival stages throughout McCrearyFest day. We’ll be rockin’ and rollin’ all day long! We’re so confident y’all will come back, we don’t even have to ask!
