to the other, from Pigskin to Parker’s Lake, twisting and turning, ravelling and unscrambling a series of riddles in a race against the clock (and other participants) to solve our very own version of a countywide scavenger hunt, the McCrearyFest Mystery Search. In past years, the mystery search has teetered on the edge of sheer chaos.
The Mystery Search usually focuses on one particular theme, and the rules are simple. The first person to find the mystery item, wins the prize. It can’t get anymore simple than that.
Mystery Search 2007 is history! The mystery object was located at about 9:40am Thursday, October 4, 2007, and turned in to WHAY's offices soon afterward. The 2007 winner is "Little" Milford Creekmore II. Creekmore wins a $100 cash prize and the complete 2007 mint coin set donated by Bank of McCreary County
This year's object was a bag of pork rinds hidden on Pigskin Road behind a large pine tree and partially hidden under a marked rock.
The McCrearyFest Mystery Search would like to continue to express its gratitude to WHAY Radio for their generous creative contributions and support of the annual search, as well as the Bank of McCreary County.
