The McCrearyFest Sponsor System
Since 2004, McCrearyFest and Parade, Incorporated, is a legally constituted civic non-profit organization, pursuant to KRS Chapter 273, whose primary objective is to support and actively engage in activities of municipal interest in and around McCreary County, Kentucky, without any commercial or monetary profit purposes. McCrearyFest is operated entirely by a board of directors elected by its standing members. As of 2008, the president of the Board of Directors is Shane Gilreath.
Because of its status, McCrearyFest relies heavily on external funding to maintain our operations, and changes in these financial resources may influence the reliability with which the organization can exist. Therefore, unreliable funding from year to year puts the future of McCrearyFest in jeopardy.
To help curve this issue, in early 2008, the McCrearyFest Board of Directors adopted a new platinum, gold, and silver sponsorship policy to go in effect in the same year, in hopes of benefiting McCrearyFest 2008.
How does this help? The benefit to us is obvious. However, donors and businesses of all sizes can build name recognition and drive their own sales through marketing opportunities by means of their contributions to McCrearyFest, who proudly recognizes the support of all our donors. Without question, McCrearyFest is deeply indebted to the companies and various private patrons who generously support the festival through annual donations. Becoming a sponsor provides McCrearyFest with additional resources to pursue new services and events while also helping to sustain McCrearyFest's core services to the community.
Platinum level sponsors ($1000.00 or more), Gold level Sponsors ($500-$999.00), and Silver level Sponsors ($100-$499.00) greatly impact the festival with their contributions. We ask you to consider investing in the history of the festival and the future of McCrearyFest by Platinum, Gold, or Silver Sponsorship. Sponsors help:
